Can you explain how to do [insert exercise name] from your Daily Workout(s)?

If you still have questions after reading my replies for these, feel free to ask! I’ll be more than glad to answer! x

What are your ultimate health goals?

Basically, I want to feel really clean and strong and healthy. I also want to lose a little bit of belly fat, gain arm muscle, and overall firm up. It’s more about gaining a new life style and having more confidence than it is about the number on the scale for me. I weight roughly 125, I’m about 5’2 and I’m perfectly happy with my weight. If by the end of my journey to total fitness, I lose weight, then awesome! But I don’t let myself think about it too much.

What keeps you motivated?

My main motivation is myself. It sounds stupid, but it’s the only thing I can think of. I want to be healthier and stronger for myself not for anyone else. I know that I alone can create the body and confidence that I have always wanted, and I don’t let external things change my mindset. I want to be able to feel energized and motivated and fit. I just remember all the good things that can come from a new, healthier me and I never forget them:

  • confidence
  • better over-all health
  • more energy
  • a happier you
And I think the last one is the most important. I’ll be happier. That’s what keeps me motivated.

Have you played any sports?

Haha, yes tons. I’ve played soccer for over 10 years. I ran cross country for a little over two years (loved it, but I really wasn’t that good. I was the one that could run for a super long time but I’d go really slow so it didn’t really work out for me- the whole speed thing). I ran track (100 and 300 meter hurdles) and I did the discus throw (Random, I know). And I’ve played tennis on-again off-again for about four years now. Soccer will always be my favorite though!

Where do you get your ideas for workouts?

I take all my favorite exercises and workouts I’ve tried before and chop them up, blend them, and spit out what you see on this blog. I take tips from professional trainers about certain exercises that you should do multiple times a week for max. results and try to incorporate those in as well. I try to make the workouts I post interesting and fun.

Why did you decide that you wanted to post workouts everyday?

Well, for one I love to encourage other people to get active. It’s always been a big part of my life and it’s brought me confidence and happiness that I sometimes see lacking in people who don’t workout at all. I think exercising should be something you get excited about doing each day. Some may not know what exercises to do, where to look for adequate workouts, or how to properly exercise. I want to be their one stop for an effective workout regime to help set them on their path to fitness and health. I think that when you can look forward to a brand new workout every day, it makes the process much more exciting and this excitement encourages you to push yourself and workout each day.

Personal

What’s your name?

Hunter! (Yes, I’m a girl.)

Are you in Highschool, College or Graduated?

Highschool!

Where do you live?

Texas. Born and raised the southern way.

How long have you had a Tumblr?

Actually this month (June 2012) is me and Tumblr’s one year anniversary! How romantic. But I haven’t had a Fitblr for very long at all. I have three blogs total. I personal/fandom blog, a fitblr, and a art/writing/inspiration/hipster-ish blog.

What’s your personal blog?

hunticity :) xx

What sorts of things besides fitness do you obsess over (fandoms, etc.)?

Oh, no. Don’t even get my started. I’ll try to do a condensed list of things. (I like a lot of things.) Okay: writing, reading, drawing, running, sleeping, eating, daydreaming, house hunting, decorating, crafts, animals, Colorado and mountains and snow and cold places, classical music, One Direction, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson (Percabeth OTP for life, guys), Merlin, Donnie Darko, Will Smith and the Fresh Prince of Belaire, House, 30 Seconds to Mars, The Walking Dead, Peace Tea, James Potter, Zak Bagans, The Sims, and Disney!

Do you have a job?

Yes! I am a receptionist at my step mom’s dance studio. I basically just sit at a desk and ignore all the dance moms and do my homework and clean windows and count money. Yay.

What are your goals for the long-term future?

The main thing I want my future to hold is happiness. I want to be surrounded by family and friends and hopefully the love of my life. I plan to attend college and as of right now ( Feb 2013- this changes all the time because I just love so many things) I’m hoping to major in biomedical engineering (with a focus in bioimaging)  and minor in neuroscience. I just want to be a research scientist of some sort to be honest. I would also like to maintain my healthy lifestyle and write at least one book in my lifetime.
